Marks Work Wearhouse - Lousy
Purchased a pair of mens slippers, brought them home to try. Walked up a flight of stairs and walked out of the slippers so they were to big.
Brought them back to trade to smaller pair.
Here is what happened.
-Sales clerk looked at me with a not so pleasent look
-she took them back to the manager
-came back in about 10 minutes.
-proceeded to let me know she was apposed to an exchange
- I asked why
- She said the slippers were worn to long
-the slippers were very dirty on the bottom and had to be scrubbed clean
-and she had to pull animal hair from the inside of the shoe
-I told her I wore them for 13 steps of stairs
-I also do not have any pets or animals in the house.
She said there a WERE animals hairs inside the slippers.
-she then said Marks will let this go only one time and one time only.
I went and got the next size down slippers and let her see them and went home.
- for 24 hours I thought about what she said and made me feel like a lier about how much the slippers were worn and the animal hair.
- did not even put on the replacement slippers because I was just fuming about how I was treated.
- brought the slippers back for a refund
because of how I was treated
- do not want to shop a marks anymore specifically because of the way I was treated. I do not need that kind of treatment when I go shopping.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
